Anyone who knows me can attest that I don’t really believe in letting “well enough” alone. So, I offer you this: a teeny envelope template that just happens to go nicely with the wee valentines I offered up earlier this week.

This is the first such template I have made, and what can I tell you? I was shocked, shocked! by how much paper a little tiny envelope takes up. So much that I couldn’t fit two of them on a single 8.5×11 page! Wha? And though I am not the paragon of thrift that I wish I were, I really can’t stand using up only half of a piece of paper. So I threw on some little decals you can cut out (thank you, circular punch!) and glue or stick (have I mentioned my love for Xyron?) to your envelopes or anything else that needs a little boost.

The envelope comes together easily enough. Just cut around the edges and fold along the lines. You can use the pattern on the inside (like a bank security envelope with a crush!) or on the outside. A dot of glue on each of the side flaps, et voilà! I used one of my little decals to close my envelope, but you could use another dot of glue or simply tuck the flap into the envelope.

As always, please use this template as much as you like, but please do not sell or modify it.
